Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the ethical obligation of companies to contribute to sustainable economic development by delivering social, environmental, and economic benefits to all stakeholders, including employees, local communities, and society at large. The concept of CSR has been recognized as a critical aspect of corporate governance, and in India, it is governed by the Companies Act, 2013, under Section 135, which lays down the framework for CSR activities and expenditures.

During the year under review Supreme Facility Management made CSR Expense of ₹8 Lakh to National Sulabh Sansthan  located at Shri Ganganagar Rajasthan. As part of the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), an expense of ₹8,00,000 has been made to the National Sulabh Sansthan located at Shri Ganganagar. This initiative aligns with the company’s CSR objectives, focusing on promoting social welfare, improving sanitation facilities, and contributing to the well-being of underserved communities.

The National Sulabh Sansthan is a well-known organization engaged in activities aimed at providing better sanitation, hygiene, and public health services. Their initiatives typically involve the construction of public toilets, promoting clean and safe sanitation practices, and supporting the underprivileged sections of society with necessary infrastructure.

This CSR expenditure used to support Sulabh’s ongoing programs in the region, which likely include the construction and maintenance of sanitation facilities, education on hygiene practices, and empowering marginalized communities. The contribution ensures that the company plays an active role in supporting national development goals related to public health and sanitation. Funds utilization by National Sulabh Sansthan has been shared to us as is in our record. Further the final photograph of the project is also shared.

In line with the Companies Act, 2013, this payment is made as part of our mandatory CSR obligations, under the relevant provisions relating to social welfare, and is consistent with the company’s CSR policy.
